| General Construction Gallery |
To get the finish work that you will see and live with daily, we have to be able to do the general carpentry work. Whether it is using an existing space such as an unfinished basement or putting on addition to create the space, we will get it built and finished for you.

| Double Deck With A Lake View - Before Left Side |
|
| The stairs from the lower deck to the lake level are hiding something. We'll figure that out shortly.
The right side view of the deck with the lower rails removed. Notice the missing spindle on top.
This is the view everyone on the lake saw before we got started. Not bad, but no wow factor.

| Double Deck With A Lake View - After Right Side |
|
| The staircase between the upper and lower decks now has a secure rail that matches the rest of the railings.
We found this concrete stairway was under the old rickety wooden stairs. Some new retaining walls and a slight modification to the lower deck not only created a great stairway to the lake, but it made the hot tub a little more private.
Sometimes it not just the view you have from your home, but the view of your home can be just as important. The narrower aluminum spindles are much less obtrusive to look through to the lake and they present a much improved view of the house from the lake.

| A Deck With A Lake View - Framing |
|
| This deck is being added to a house that looks out over a lake. It is just a small deck that adds tremendously to the home.
Keeping a deck stable requires the footing to be below the frost line; other wise the footings will sink and heave as the ground freezes and thaws. This footing will have concrete poured in next and then it will be back filled with dirt.

| Adding On - Before III |
|
| A addition will be added to the right of this house.
The addition will come straight out from the back of this house where the existing door is.
The grill will soon be replaced by a 20' x 26' hot tub room with a additional bathroom for this one bath house.

| The original part of the house is to the left of the addition.
The addition has been completed. The 8' slider is large enough to get a six person hot tub into the room along with a tanning bed and a weight bench.

| Exterior Trim - Making Repairs |
|
| This older home's exterior is sided with a strange material, wood. The corner post has been replaced and is ready for painting.
This home's look is being changed to look more like the beach house that it is by changing the T1-11 siding to a reverse board and batten style.

| A Small Deck On A Back Entrance |
|
| We added this deck to the back of a house that just had a set of concrete steps. Now there is room for a chair and a grill. The lattice work provides some privacy on a busy street corner.

| A Family Room In The Basement - 1 |
|
| We created a family room in this basement complete with finished drywall walls that are insulated and a vapor barrier to keep that basement smell away.
The vapor barrier in the walls is also under the laminate flooring. Along with the padding under the flooring, it creates a room that does not feel or smell like a basement.

| Creating a bit more finished space by finishing the basement and allowing plenty of light in.
So, what good is more space without more storage.
